HER FIRST NIGHT

The first matrimonial night made her so nervous. Astonished by the charm of her husband she bloomed. It was 11 O’ clock and she was on her bed, dressed in the best dress she possessed, waiting for the man of her life. She was tired, but she was excited. Suddenly she heard the opening of the door. She closed her eyes and her lips began to tremble. She sensed his footsteps. She felt him near her. Her fingers got hold of the bed cover to the extent that it got raze. He moved slowly near her. Her forehead, her eyes were sanctified with his adorable kisses. He ventured to boil her blood with gentle licks in her earlobes. He blew warm air against her vulnerable neck, and pleasurably licked the moist of her neck. She became comfortable and enjoyed the love bequeath upon her. They became raw in their appearance; they started adoring all the fond details that made him a man and her woman. The sweat of his hairy arm pit aroused her carnal desires to the height of revelry. Her long hair, the musk of sweat between her bosom and all the endless female beauty confound him to the extent of lust. They got so absorbed in each other that they never realized their defeat over each other.

Paradise Lost (with a 21st century view point)

The first humans Adam and Eve, God’s beloved creation, inhabitants of God’s Paradise, were happy as man today can never be. Then, arrived Satan, formerly an angel, whose pride provoked him to go to war against God and to be thrown out of Heaven. The revengeful Satan tempted Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden Fruit of Knowledge. As mankind was God’s beloved creation, Satan decided to cause evil to men as revenge upon God. Satan guises as a serpent and talks to Eve and compliments her on her beauty and godliness. She is amazed to find an animal that can speak. She asks how he learned to speak, and he cunningly told her that it was by eating from the Tree of Knowledge. He told Eve that God actually wanted her and Adam to eat from the Tree, and that his order was merely a test of their courage. She was hesitant at first but then reached for a fruit from the Tree of Knowledge and ate. She became distraught and true realization dawned upon her. She searched for Adam. Adam had been busy making a wreath of flowers for Eve. When Eve found Adam, he dropped the wreath and was horrified to find that Eve had eaten from the forbidden Tree. Knowing that she has fallen, he decided that he would rather be fallen with her than remain pure and lose her. So he ate from the fruit as well. Adam looked at Eve in a new way, and together they turned to lust. God immediately knew of their disobedience. He decided to punish Adam and Eve with a display of both justice and mercy. Adam and Eve were made to suffer pain and death. Eve and all women must suffer the pain of childbirth and must submit to their husbands, and Adam and all men must hunt and grow their own food on a depleted Earth. With the first err of man, men became stumble by nature. Greed became their religion, falsehood their truth and cruelty their gentlemanliness. War became their urgent need; wars for food, wealth and shelter. With the series of revolution caused by men’s own intelligence, every aspect of life changed. From human development, health and life longevity, to social improvements and the impact on natural resources, public health, energy usage and sanitation, the effects were profound. Life became most challenging as men have to compete with machines. Rich became richer and the poor poorer. Hunger for power led to hatred among mankind. Men began to kill men. Brotherhood became a word that existed only in dictionaries. Parents were betrayed by children, women became a medium to fulfill men’s lust. Father began to abuse daughters; mother became the victim of her own son. The people were united under monarchy, but there aroused the hunger for power between men and colonialism became a part of world history. The English colonized South Africa and India, giving rise to the rebellions. Desire for power divided a state into three. India, Pakistan and Bangladesh were part of the same geographical map of India, are now three separate countries. Some English felt the need to have their separate state and there aroused the state America. But people were not happy with this. They want more and their aggressive attitude resulted in the 2001 World Trade Centre bombing, the 2008 Mumbai attacks and the 2014 Massacre in Pakistan. The border dispute between Nagaland and Assam, the violence between Bodos and Bengali-speaking Muslims and the recent attacks of NDFB upon Adivasis also adds to the aggressive and repulsive attitude of men towards men We say something. We do something. We profess morality. We preach values. We give sermons on character. We honour our women folk. We place them on a lofty platform. We recite scripter in their honour. But we are hollow within. We talk of women liberation movement. But it is a sad reality that our women are slaves as they were ages ago. It is pleasant to talk about women liberation but no one gives them real freedom. Sushmita Banerjee, also known as Sushmita Bandhopadhyay a Bengali Brahmin girl of Kolkata; ignoring the community differences loved a Pathan named Janbaz Khan a citizen of Afghanistan. And like any other orthodox Brahmin family, her family too created problem in the union of the two lovers. As a consequence they got married by registry, and in such a way she stepped into her misfortune as religion proved to be a barrier among people. People hated and loved in name of religion. Did God create people with different caste and religion? Did God want men to fight in name of caste and religion? What has turned of men, God’s beloved creation??? What has they turn earth to? The paradise is lost and is lost forever. In times as coming from the womb what can be expected from men? Will they become worst? Will they become the epitome of Satan or will they bring bliss as an embellishment of God?
